Next Maintenance:
Update 01 Feb 2025: The maintenance has been completed and the cluster is available again.
On Saturday, 1 Feb 2025, there will be no access to ALICE and no running jobs due to maintenance on the network switches.
To prevent issues for users, access will be restricted from Friday, 31 Jan at 18:00 on and a reservation is in place for the entire cluster, so that no jobs run during the maintenance.
You can continue to submit jobs even with the reservation in place. If the running time of the job fits within the time that is left until the reservation starts, the job can still run (if resources are available).
If your job does not fit in the time left, your jobs will remain in the queue with the note ReqNodeNotAvail, Reserved for maintenance. They can run again when the node has been lifted.
Any jobs that are still running when the reservation starts will be terminated.
We hope that ALICE will come back online by itself after the update, but in case not, we will work on it first thing Monday morning.
