(1) Please note:
Each project/team space in Research Drive is assigned a Project Folder Owner.
A Project Folder Owner has the normal rights as a group/project member, but also has the rights to manage the folder structure and allow or revokes access for individual users or groups of users, but has no other specific privileges or functions. The Project Folder Owner is often the first line of support for members of the project/group and is the primary point of contact for the contract admin (ISSC). The role of a Project Folder Owner can be transferred (upon request by the PI).
The Project Folder Owner can only be appointed by the PI for project and group access.
Indicate whether the Project Folder Owner is experienced with Research Cloud, SURFdrive or OwnCloud (or if you need help to get started)
(2) Please note:
The contract admin is the person that manages the contract between ISSC and the faculty/institute. The contract admin can create projects/groups and assigns Project Folder Owners to these.Â
(3) Please note:
For projects/groups that work with data categories V=3 or V=4, an intake meeting will be organized by the ISSC/LDCC. Groups/projects that work with other data (V=1 or V=2) can request an intake meeting.
(4) Please note:
Storage quota above 1000 GB are possible, but only upon request and agreed in a Service Level Agreement (SLA). To increase your quota, submit a request to ISSC Helpdesk portal.
Indicate whether you intend to migrate large amounts of data from SURFdrive or other remote device (and need help for this)
(5) Please note:
A DMP must be available at the moment that project data is being uploaded. A DPIA must be available at the moment the project starts uploading sensitive data (V=3 or V=4).
It is good practice to upload a copy of the DMP and DPIA in a separate subfolder (e.g., docs) so that team members can verify how Research Drive is intended to be used. In particular for data with V>1, team members must be informed what measures must be taken by them to avoid mistakes and minimize the risk of loss and leakage of data.
