Yoda is a research data management service that enables Leiden University researchers to securely deposit, share, publish and preserve research data during all stages of a research project.

  • Yoda supports enriching research data with metadata in order to improve its findability and reusability.

  • Yoda automatically creates a persistent identifier (DOI) when you publish a dataset.

  • Yoda supports archiving multiple versions of research project data (e.g. raw data and processed data).

  • Researchers can share their data with other Leiden University employees, students, or external persons.

  • Yoda supports accessing your data using a network disk or file transfer application. This feature is available on all major operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
