Your first job

In this chapter you will find a few basic examples that will help you get started with setting up and running jobs on ALICE or Shark. These tutorials are simple but cover different types of jobs. They are written so that you should be able to repeat each step yourself and we encourage you try them out. They will give you a starting point from which you can develop your own job files or you can have a look at more advanced examples.

If you are completely new to ALICE or SHARK, HPC and using Slurm, it is recommended that you start with the first example.
